The challenge

Gallagher, formerly known as Crombie Lockwood, is one of the world's largest insurance companies with 33 locations across New Zealand.

As a global leader in the insurance industry, their extensive client base and high standards of service have established them as a leader in the field. Zoosh Studio was approached by Gallagher to assist with the design and fit-out of their new Wanaka branch.

The new Gallagher office spans 172m² and required 12 workstations, a small breakout space, a boardroom, and a separate small meeting room. The project presented a significant challenge as the proposed office was brand new, and the base-build project was not fully ready in time for our site establishment.

Additionally, Crombie Lockwood underwent a brand change to Gallagher during the project, requiring design changes to reflect the new brand midway through the project delivery.

The approach

Our experienced team started by coordinating closely with the base-build contractors to ensure timely completion of the project. We implemented a well-designed, simple, yet effective office layout that included some of the luxuries of a large corporate office in a smaller space.

By closely monitoring progress and adapting to the mid-project brand change, we ensured the design met the client’s new branding requirements without compromising on quality or functionality.

The result

The new Gallagher workspace successfully met all the client’s requirements and was well-received by both their clients and employees. The functional, aesthetically pleasing office space reflects Gallagher’s high standards and supports their daily operations seamlessly.
