The challenge

Reece Plumbing is a leading Australian distributor of plumbing, waterworks, and HVAC products, with over 800 branches and more than 8,000 employees across Australia and New Zealand.

Zoosh Studio was approached by Reece to assist with the design and fit-out of their new Dunedin branch. The new showroom spans 1030m², consisting of a 450m² warehouse and storage area, a 440m² trade area, and a 140m² plumbing showroom.

The key project challenge was the client’s hard deadline for relocation. Zoosh Studio was tasked with delivering the project on time to ensure the site was ready for the move.

The approach

Our team got to work by teaming up with the contractors to keep everything on track and finish on time. We came up with a simple, practical showroom layout that still brought in some of the nice touches you'd find in a bigger corporate space, but in a smaller setting.

By keeping a close eye on progress and working with the Dunedin City Council, we made sure the design met the client’s needs, stayed true to quality and functionality, and followed all the necessary rules.

The result

We completed the Reece Dunedin showroom right on time, meeting every expectation the client had. It’s been a hit with both their customers and employees. The space is not only functional but also looks great, perfectly matching Reece's high standards and making their daily operations smoother.
