Campbell Tyson, a long-established accounting firm, had just refreshed its brand: professional, community, and grounded. They asked us to modernise the front of house so it would reflect that identity while staying highly functional and welcoming to their clients—the brief emphasised authenticity over trends, sustainable choices with longevity, and a strong connection to place. Warm timber, stone, tactile textures and soft, earthy tones were identified as the right cues to express the rural context and the team’s down-to-earth culture.

We scheduled the fit-out over the Christmas period to minimise disruption, anticipating supplier delays and solving them with proactive sourcing. On-site, we tightened quality control and worked closely with trades to resolve finish issues quickly. The reception wall required concealed doors; we iterated in situ with our joinery specialist to solve both aesthetic and functional challenges. Wherever possible, we reused existing elements and selected durable, environmentally responsible finishes. The palette remained honest and tactile, turning brand values into everyday touchpoints for clients and staff.

The renewed front of house feels warm, human and unmistakably Campbell Tyson. Clients arrive at a space that’s easy to navigate and puts them at ease; staff gain an environment they’re proud to host. Every decision favours clarity, longevity and fit over short-term fashion—a practical expression of our philosophy that creativity works best alongside common sense, and spaces should serve people first. In short, when design reflects the brand and the place, it creates an exceptional result.
